About Us

Thanks for taking a peek at Eli Silas Designs. I am a wife and the mother of two, Eli and Silas. I can truly say that my children are the inspiration behind the hobby that has grown into a small business. While mothering a couple of wild little boys and experiencing all the joys and sorrows that accompany a typical day in the life of a mommy I forgot that I was first and foremost Anne Cullum. Anne: lover of chocolate, Broadway, my husband, the ocean, long walks at night and art.

In July of 2003 I replenished some of my forgotten and dried up art supplies. As soon as my hands were stained and my fingernails were crusted with paint, it all came back to me in an instant. This is who I am. I am an artist. Not the greatest, not even close, but I am a working artist. And at the end of the day when the paint is drying and fumes fill the studio, I am so filled up and so complete that I can’t wait to return to the original inspiration that started it all; my wild little boys… Eli and Silas.
